Final Conference of the Erasmus Boosters event

The Final Conference of the Erasmus Boosters event organized by Neoanalysis and coordinated by Dr. Ludwig Intelligent Projects was successfully implemented on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Novus City Hotel in Athens. The event attracted a big number of motivated participants who actively interacted with each other, thus reflecting the high interest generated by the various projects and activities of the Erasmus + programme.

Following the welcoming statements by Neoanalysis Dr. Kitty Panourgia and Dr. Volker Ludvig, Dr. Maria Psychogiou delivered an inspiring speech about ”the Vision of a United Europe”. Ms. Miriam Lopez presented the Erasmus+ Program and stressed the opportunities for Youth Empowerment. Mr. Antony Konini from ASSET Technology presented the European Youth Goals, while Mr. Max Ludwig presented the EU Funded Places in the Partner Countries through a Virtual Guided Tour.

Dr. Volker Ludwig analyzed the Erasmus Boosters Project, its Activities and Outputs. He presented a unique and innovative initiative in the context of the project, the Erasmus passport and Erasmus Life Book. The idea behind the Erasmus Boosters Passport is to encourage users to reflect on their participation of the Erasmus plus programmes. The Erasmus Boosters Passport provides significant information for the passport holder and provides the alumni with the option to share stories and add information to it. The passports include designated spaces for collecting stamps from Erasmus+ projects and events by the Coordinating NGOs and other Erasmus Agents. Every passport has an integrated NFC (Near Field Communication) chip, revolutionizing the way stories are documented and shared. The content of the NFC-Chip can be read out through an Erasmus Life Book Station, positioned in places that are often visited by the general public.

The presentations were completed with an example of the impact Erasmus projects can have on Youth worldwide though the VISYON Project:

Understanding the European Youth Goals Through Short Films, delivered by Ms. Maria Lafazani. This is a KA3 project coordinated by EKO Greece in the context of a consortium of eight European partners The event included a panel discussion where former Erasmus enthusiastic participants took the floor and shared their testimonials and personal experiences. Moreover, the event held an open discussion on the following topic ”How Can We Make The Positive Effects of EU Activities and The Benefits of EU- Membership of Countries for their Citizens More Visible as Civil Society Actors and/or as Individuals”.

Thanks to the interesting presentations and the high engagement of the participants, the Erasmus experience was seen from a variety of angles, providing valuable feedback and the sharing of interesting insights and first-hand experiences. All in all, the event was highly successful and impactful, touching most of the sides of Erasmus life.
