INSTALL YOUTH - BEST PRACTICES MANUAL

The partners researched non-formal education teaching programs and good practices (interventions, policies, programs designed by the public/private/not-for-profit sector, specific education tools or approaches) promoting digital citizenship and scientific literacy. The good practices were analyzed through the:
a. Desk research (description of the basic elements of the program/approach, the needs/gaps/challenges the practice aims to address, its target groups, its outputs, outcomes & outreach [e.g. number of beneficiaries], as well as analysis of the practice’s/outputs that are useful for digital and scientific literacy education programs)
b. Interviews with 5 representatives of those interventions/per country to gain deeper information about the impact of these programs on the digital citizenship competencies and scientific literacy of the beneficiaries. (insight of the program – what was good/what did not work; broader impact; key lessons learned).
As the result of this 2-phase research, partners produced a joint report of 45 good practices!
